Tracy Rogers
Human Resources Manager

Tracy Rogers is Blackcomb Aviation’s Human Resources Manager. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from UBC and post-graduate training and expertise in all aspects of HR management. Prior to joining Blackcomb, Tracy worked for an international distribution company with offices throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Tracy has also worked as an independent consultant and is known for her expertise in labour relations, performance management and employment standards.

James Rose
Director of Maintenance, Rotary Operations

James Rose is Blackcomb Aviation’s Director of Rotary Maintenance. He is a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 18 years aviation including 2 years as Base Manager and Base Engineer in Fort Nelson, BC. At Blackcomb, James directs the scheduling and administration of maintenance, repair, and modification for Blackcomb’s rotary fleet. He liaises with aircraft manufacturers and Transport Canada on all matters concerning aircraft continuing worthiness including evaluation, inspection and the necessary testing to maintain strict standards of aircraft safety.

Alejandra Sorto
Controller

Alejandra Sorto is Controller for Blackcomb Aviation. She is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. She successfully completed her UFE examinations in 2007. Prior to joining Blackcomb, Alejandra was an audit senior at Wolrige Mahon LLP, one of Greater Vancouver’s largest independent accounting firms.

Steve Wright
Business Development Manager

Steve Wright is Blackcomb Aviation’s Business Development Manager and is contracted to oversee Blackcomb’s client base development, marketing initiatives, and executive support services in fixed wing, rotary wing, and aircraft ownership and maintenance divisions. Steve is a 25 year aviation veteran, internationally known for his work as helicopter pilot on multiple feature films and television series shot across North America. In addition to previously owning a highly successful urban helicopter company, Steve’s professional background includes 4 years as a Constable with the RCMP, 5 years as a real estate company owner and agent, and 10 years leading personal development training programs.
